Cylinder 1 Misfire - Code 71
I've had this issue for quite some time now and have not been able to find a solution to it. I have a 97 Prelude SH and my ATTS light has been on too. Error code 7-1: Cylinder 1 misfire.
Work I've done so far with no luck; leak down test (ok), compression test (ok), replaced distributor cap and rotor, new spark plugs, new spark plug wires, new fuel filter, new pcv valve, new cat, valve adjustment, injectors cleaned (twice) and even swapped injectors to see if it was actually a faulty injector but there was no change - same code Cylinder 1 misfire and misfire did not follow the injector. Don't know what's left to try really..... Do you guys think it could be a faulty sensor somewhere since the distributor was replaced? I don't seem to have any loss in power.
I've pretty much covered everything I can think of except the EGR system and IAC valve, but I can't really see how it could be either of these 2 systems being faulty since the code is always the same (cylinder 1). If it was the EGR or IAC, wouldn't it affect all cylinders? ie. wouldn't sometimes the lude throw a 72, 73 or 74 code once in a while as opposed to always 71?
I'm seriously at a loss with this problem. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. The search for the fix to this continues for me... please help!

That's the next step - but if it was as simple as a clogged EGR valve, wouldn't it be affecting all cylinders? not just cylinder 1?
