Cv-axle and trans/half shaft axles oil seals
do i need to lube the oil seals on the inside of the seal or do i leave it dry to give a good seal?
also, does the cv-axle or the half shaft need to be dry as well or lubed up?

Its always a good idea to oil all rubber gaskets upon install. Most seals, brand new dont need oil, but on reusing seals it helps them adhear better.

I always apply a small amount of sil-glide or silicon to the friction side of seals(where seal meets camshaft, axle, etc)
I always spray the axle with some silicon spray as well. When installing a dry axle, you risk the chance of tearing the seal if there is too much friction.
