Default CTR piston in ls motor?

i was told ctr pistons in an ls block with a thin one-layer head gasket will make my compression ratio 12:0. Is that safe for me to run on a well built up ls motor?

pct's on b18a/b block with stock headgasket compression is about 13.

Please do not forget to supply ample fuel to your setup...running high c-ratios on a standard fuel setup will lead to problems!

What cams do you plan on running in order to need that high of a compression? I hope they're some huge custom cams cuz all the ones out don't need anything higher than 11.0:1.

you're going to need to modify your rods to fit the pistons though.

you could probably get away with using an AFC and tuning it richer for fuel. if not, some bigger injectors may be in order.

I did the same same setup a year ago it works fine, ctr pistons in an LS and I even had the head milled 25k. It ran on pump gas as well as stock cams did bother with buying a cam for an ls motor

what pistons would everybody rather use for my set up

jdm ctr's or jdm itr's

set up:
B18b head-
with a wild port and polish job, crower stage 3 cams, crower springs and retainers, new valves, and a larger fuel pump with a 2 or 1 layer head gasket with 2 layer ill be pushing out about 11:7 compression and with the 1 layer ill be pushing 12. what does everybody think i should do to get max power (92 octane) should i mill my head at all since compression is already going to be high?
B18b block-
jdm ctr pistons .025 oversized, machined to my ls rods and balanced, and a machined crank
P.S. I will also be running a hondata stage 4 programed ecu
