Default Crower rod installation?

I recently purchased a set of crower maxi-light rods. It does not specify anywhere in the packaging which way the rods "face". For example, factory rods have a stamping that faces forwards in the block. Which way do they go? Does it even matter? (I assume it does)

I've just installed a set of Crower Maxi-light rod in my B18C1, put about 3000miles on it, rev up pretty quick if match with forged pistons, i don't think it matters, give Crower a call. You are gonna love the rods

Doesn't matter, just a tool to use for lining up the pistons and rings ... just be consistant.

What about the notches that hold the bearings? Do they have to be aligned a certain way? Intake or exhaust side?

I guess it's time to come clean. The motor has been assembled for 10 months and is actually running in the car right now. How critical is it for the tangs to be on the exhaust side? The motor runs fine as of right now, but if it is critical then it will be corrected before it is started again. The engine only has about 200 miles on it.
