CROWER ROD BEARING SIZES
What's going everyone. Like the title says I need to know if Crower makes their rods all the same number for the gsr motor. Like Eagle does with their's. Example-eagle is a #3...match that to the letters on the crank...look in the service manual... get the color code for the bearing. My Crower rods have numbers on them...1234...are these the numbers I need to use or are they part an ID# of some sort. Please everyone, help me. Thankyou.
I did a search but I got mixed reviews on the topic

It's easiest to have a complete set (all colors) when mic'ing your motor... We generally just start somewhere in the middle, green is a good start and plastigage it till you get the clearance you're shooting for... Don't worry about relying on the alphanumeric coding unless you don't want to buy a whole set of bearings... If you do, be sure to double check your clearances anyways... Peace
