crankcase pressure on decelleration??
my problem is that well first of all, I think my real main seal is blown now. The reason is that I think that when decellerating, i smell what seems to be burning oil. Not out the exhuast but from the engine bay. It is leaking out what seems to be the oil pan or the rear main seal. Can't really see.
Motor is a LS/VTEC. if that matters
Question?? is there a way to releive excess pressure in the crankcase upon decelleration? I am currently using the stock PCV setup. I'm not sucking up oil into the TB or anything, just spitting oil out the oil pan gasket or rear main seal onto the exhuast upon decelleration. If I put the car in neutral and let the car idle while decellerating, I don't have that problem. Only when motor is coming down in revs. (decellerating using the engine as brakes)
I will fix the leaky seal problem but don't want it to be a reoccuring problem.

Really sounds like the PCV valve... but if it's already new.... ummm...... did you check all of the PCV system's hoses for holes/leaks ?
I checked all hose and everything looks good. car idles fine (like there is no vacuum leak). I'll try getting another PCV and see what happens.
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the help.
Do you have the breather hose attached on your valve cover? That is another place you can releive preassure.
