Is everyone stumped?
I asked this in a longer question earlier however can not get an answer. Basically...to make a long story short...my oil pan was crushed inward causing excessive pressure and springing an oil leak from the rear main seal. After I figured out the problem and drained some oil...no more leak. Can someone tell me if they have ever either seen or experienced themselves an oil leak from overfilling (lack of space in my case) and once the excess oil was drained the seals were fine? I am just surprised that without some kind of vent that the seal was not destroyed and still leaking.
