Default Crank pulley "wobble"

Ok i have an 01 gsr STOCK new gates belt, new oem wp, and tensioner has 50k or so (putting new one on now). I have some wobble on the crank pulley ONLY. I have put straight edge on oil pump reluctor ring (best i could) and does not seem to wobble there. How would i have wobble just at the pulley itself? It mainly does at idle, rev a small bit seems to die down.

Anyone else had this issue?

*** dont know if worth noting

I do have an ls crank pulley on there w/ both belt guide rings (after i took off obd2 oil pump gear for obd1 ls). It was tq correctly with proper oem honda holding tool for crank.

Why do you have an LS pulley? I'm not familiar but are they supposed to be interchangeable?

You possibly have a pulley failing, the outter ring is coming loose and can potentially grind into the timing cover or worse; explode and blow through your hood etc.. You want to get a new ballancer on that fast if it has slipped. eBay has great deals on factory ones or you could go ATI $uper Damper.

Thats kinda what i fig wasthe rubber inner ring. I encounter "noise" with them being bad as a chevy tech. Will honda ones make "noise"? Alot of gm ones rattle or sound metallicy. Because i have also had a pretty odd whining noise. I fig was tbelt tentioner on its way out, part of reason i am changing in a few mins. I have a buddy local who has a few other ls/b20 crank pulleys so all good finding new one.

Sorry did not see your reply when i posted last post. I have an ls on there because my gsr lb did not come with one, was no big deal as i had one. As far as i know and have personally seen they are interchangeable. All my belts line up good (with belt laser), ac/alt

Was deff the balance pulley that was going bad. Put on another ls/b20 ans straight as an arrow. Now just got to get small alt belt, as new pulley is 1/2" in od small or so

I was sooo fortunate that this didn't turn into a disaster! Glad to see that you had time to fix yours also.
