Crane Cams ignition...
Ok on there hi6 ignitions there are two rmp dials, one is for a rev but i dont know what the other one is for??? The part numbers are 6000-6452 and 6000-6352. Also can anyone tell me which crane cam ignitions comes with a 2-step rev limiter???
I may be mistaken here so don't quote me as gospel, but I think one dial is for the digital rev limiter and the other is for boost retard. It's been awhile since I messed with a crane ignition though. Is that the HI6 you got?
I haven't gotten it yet, i just wanted to check which one comes with the 2-step. Does anybody know the part number for the crane cam ignition that comes with the 2-step?

Didn't want to start a new thread, so I am bumping this one!
Can you use a Crane Cams Hi-6 PN 6000-6420 as a two step? Any way to make it work.. or is it a lost cause??

The 2 dials are for the single-stage rev-limiter. The left one is for "1000" rpm range and the right is for "100" rpm range. That means if you set your left one to 8 and right one to 5 then your spark cutoff will be 8500 rpm.</TD></TR></TABLE>
correct!
