Default couple of Qs while rebuilding block (with pics)

since i crashed my car i decided to take apart the block and replace with ctr pistons etc etc

1. i "accidentally" scratched the rod bearings while taking out the pistons...i know i know i should've used a wood/plastic/rubber stick...damn me i was too tired and lazy...should i get new bearings? i think i should

close up

and here is my cracked piston "accidentally" dropped it while taking it out...damn piston!!

gsr crank!!

2. i took off my IM and found oil on both side of all the runners...is this normal?

skunk2 IM

3.should i port match my intake/exhaust ports?
as of right now my header is bigger than my exhaust port, should i get it ported the same size?
i think my skunk2 IM is smaller also, not sure have to measure it.
would it be a good idea to enlarge the whole runner or just where IM/head meets?

also, i searched for a while and found that most perfer stock ITR TB, which would be the best way?
A. buy an ITR TB
B. port my gsr TB to 62
C. buy a bigger TB (JG 65?)
any help would be great..thanks!!!

bigger throttle body would be nice, itr or aftermarket, whichever you can afford. I was going to say that that port job looked like portflow...they do great work. As far as matching, Id match the skunk2 mani to your gasket, the portflow head should already be gasket matched, I wouldnt touch that head no matter what.

you don't wanna portmatch the exhaust, having the runners larger than the port helps against reversion
