Default corrosive bath

Is there something that I could soak my rear lcas in that will break down particles, dirt, and rust? I broke that one bolt off but don't want to break off my other one. Just thinking if I let them soak overnight, they might come off no problem. Any ideas?

Yeah, I would. That or PB Blaster. Problem is they don't sell it by the gallon.

i've found wd40 is best left as a lubricant. try some liquid wrench or the like

Just shoot yourself now. Wd-40 isnt a lubricant at all, where on the can did you read that? Its a rust penetrant/repelant. It will however clean away oil and grease so go ahead and relube everything with it.

heat with a propane torch to expand contract the metal beyond normal heat range. then cool it with pb blaster or super penetrate or wd 40 it doesnt matter. as the fastener cools it will create a slight vacuum around the end of it and you can visibly see the liquid being sucked in. simple physics let soak overnight and use impact in the morning.

Thanks, I think I'll go buy a propane torch and try that.
