cooling problems... please help!

Icon2 cooling problems... please help!

so i live up here in the cold and when ever its like 10 degrees or below my car always over heats. i have coolant in there with no air bubbles, i bleed the system . when its warm outside i have no problems. on cold days like this i dont have any heat either. what do you guys think the problem/s is?

Have your coolant tested for freeze point. I'll bet it's slushing up on you. Better do it sooner than later to prevent major damage.

I would invest in an OEM Block heater. Helps bring your block to a higher temperature before starting.

I've never heard of coolant slushing up, but maybe if the mixture of water and coolant is not 50/50, and its more water than coolant, then the water might be freezing up?????
