Does anyone know the direction the coolant flows through the FITV?

Does it come out of the intake manifold flow through the FITV then through the IACV and then into the block?

OR vise versa?

Its a 92 GSR with the stock B17A

 

Yes, what U said is the way it is on stock setup. But if U hook it up vise versa no big deal, it will still work.

Then it means that more than likely then my FITV is bad then. I was hopeing that it wasnt getting any coolant from a hose that I pinched off the other day cleaning my IACV.

can you clean the FITV like we have to clean the IACV sometimes?

I havent taken it off yet.....

BTW: I went out there and cleaned the FITV today and it has its own coolant feeding lines and IS NOT connected the IACV like I thought it was. When I asked the question I hadnt looked @ it very well and it seemed as thought it was connected, but it was another coolant line that was very close to it.
