Coolant loss again after replacing headgasket...
So my B18A started to chew through coolant and then would overheat because it had dropped below the level of the head. Compression was pretty even on all 4 (170 lowest, 185 highest) but I replaced the headgasket anyway and slapped on a B16A head after getting it leveled, with arp studs. Now i'm still losing coolant, and can't figure out where exactally so I can fix the problem.
Is it likely that the block was also not flat (as I did not get it machined due to the different levels of effort required compared to the head) meaning coolant is still getting into the cylinders?
It starts quite roughly after being left for a while.
Any ideas on where to start looking? Or what to do? I really just need to find out for sure where it's going so I can fix it!
THanks
