Default Converting automatic PR3 ecu to manual...

What are the benifits?... By changing the jumper points will this up the redline to 8200 from 7500, or does it just change the fuel maps? I searched and all I can find is how to convert it but it doesn't explain what it accually does.
TIA

Wrong resistor. I know how to do it but what are the benifits?

No CEL 19. **** if I know that the revlimit differences are, I've never played around with one. I'd ASSUme the revlimit is the exact same, you just don't have a slushbox shifting before you reach it.

So red line stays the same the only thing that changes is fuel maps?

Bump for the same question I have everything ready to do it but I wanna know if it will change the redline as well. What do you mean CEL 19? Has anyone actually moved the 2 spots?

You have to move a resistor, and run a manual program.

Nothing in the maps change, there is only one set of maps in the chip. It just keeps the program from getting pissy about the lockup solenoid not being present. You will still need to change the rest of the stuff, like rev limiter and maps.
