Default compression testing procedure info needed

want to perform a compression test on my DOHC ZC in my '91 Civic,
as it is currently running on three cylinders. From what I understand,
I have to disable the fuel pump and possibly open the throttle body
butterfly all the way. Is this correct? If so, is the best way to disable
the fuel pump by removing a fuse? And does the butterfly have to be
opened fully?

any info appreciated

-take out all sprak plugs and wires
-hold throttle wide open
-crank over at lest 5 times

the readings should be with in 10% of each other ,hope that helps ya.......
