Which compression testers to buy?
are the all the same:
sears has some from $20-25
auto zone has one for $22
pepboys have one for $19.99
http://www.harborfrieght.com has them for about $24.95

which will give me a accurate reading at the best price?

I'm happy with the auto parts store version I got for about $20something. Accuracy really doesn't have that much significance, unless you are a hardcore engine builder. What you are mainly concerned with is the range of readings from cylinder to cylinder. The small descrepencies from one tester to the next doesn't matter much.

You probably already know this, but the test is normally performed on a warm engine with the throttle held wide open. You should pull the ECU fuse to disable the fuel and spark systems, also. Let the engine cool down before re-installing the plugs, and use some anti-sieze compound on the threads.
