Default Comments on engine block set up need

I had a 93 eg hatch back with a B16A in it.
I intend to drop a B18C1 and do the following changes to it:

JUN Stroker kit , displacement = 2.0L and compression ratio = about 11.0:1
MUGEN high compression HG = +0.3 to compression ratio
TODA Vtec killer Cam shaft = Intake duration 305 lift 12 mm
Exhaust duration 305 lift 11.5 mm

Comments and advice need please

Sorry i missed out the valve train . . .

ITR intake side outer valve spring
portflow stiff inner valve spring

If i put all these parts together with a performance hondata ECU . . will they work well together ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? I i wanna turbo charge it in the future will they still work well ? ? ? ? ?? ?

Are you building this for a daily driven car?

I would bore it to get to 2L. Cheaper and you can keep those revs high. Id say no to the whole daily driver thing though. You should also look into some sort of management for that setup. Not necessarily just a chip.

I would recomend two things. #1 Use the TODA springs. #2 Don't use the VTEC killer cams.

I've heard they are great cams, but are you still planning on driving this everyday? If you have those cams you probably won't for long. If you are just going for drag then YES get the cams, but also the TODA springs.

Thanks, J

Compression is too high for future turbo setup. Killer cams overlap will not work well at all with a turbo. NO low end power, none. Those are not the kind of cams that make it easy to cruise down the freeway or get decent milage or offer any kind of resonable drivability. Its a nice dream though.

u gotta plan for what u want to do. if you want to run boost later, then make a compromise. dont increase the stroke by getting a jun stroker kit. instead have the block resleeved and increase the bore to get your displacement. 84mm bore on a b18c1 will yield around 1.93 liters. this way your foundation or block will be super strong to begin with (ie ability to run lots of boost later). have it o-ringed when sleeved. get aftermarket rods, rebuild the whole block, have it balanced, etc. put 84mm 9:1 c/r pistons in it and suffer for a while. at least you'll have increased torque with the 84mm bore. keep your stock gsr cams. get a hondata w/the boost options.

now...boost.

ThankZ dUdE

Erm . . is it that the lower the compression ratio the better for boosting ? ? ? ?
issit because of the knocking problem ? ? ? ? ?
Is the any limit on c/r for boosting ? ? ? ? ?
