Default Cometic head gasket

hi,

I just bought a cometic head gasket on Ebay for $46.00. now, i didnt reaserch too well before i bought it. so now im hear to ask you guys, will this be a good setup. I am buying a B16 head, and a b16 block, both are seperate. and, for the head gasket, i wanna use this. now, im not going for turbo, more for high compression, but it dont have to be incredible. this is the link for the gasket i bought. LMK what you guys think, please.

that's a great price for a great headgasket, you really cant go wrong unless you got the wrong bore size(u using a 82mm bore?) or the seller tries to rip you off.

damn, thats a relief, i was worried that that would be too thick of a gasket, like it would be for a turbo app or something. Thanks alot though.

.043 is about the same thickness as a stock gasket so you got no worries there..as far as the bore size you gotta ask someone else,I dont mess with Bs.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by D-Man &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">.043 is about the same thickness as a stock gasket so you got no worries there..as far as the bore size you gotta ask someone else,I dont mess with Bs.</TD></TR></TABLE>

stock size is .030 that headgasket is going to lower your compression by .25

yeah, the guy refunded me my money, i to him that it was false advertisement and i would give him negative feedback if he didnt return my money. he said right on the page, "for high compression" he was pissed, but his fault non the less.

thanks guys
