Cold air helps high compression?
I think I confused myself... Colder air should help high compression correct because it cools the combustion and keeps the plugs from running too hot? Just like using colder plugs right? I know by the seat of my pants and I can check the plugs after and know when I have been running lean and rich. I can just feel it in the car nowadays after fooling with this **** for some time. During the night I tend to run richer and faster.... more bouyant feel in the pedal. In the day, the car runs sluggish and the pedal feels heavy. Also, my exhaust tones vary as well.... raspy when lean and a low mellow tone when rich.
The thing is, my car doesn't have proper fuel tuning so the only way my car runs good is when it's colder outside... Am I making sense... 11.8c/r 91 octane, chipped p28, stock injectors, fuel pump, adj fpr 48 psi.
