Default code 90

my lsvtec is throwing a code 90 when I try to run a chipped p28 but when I run the 95ls ecu its runs fine. whAT COULD be causing this?

The P28 is OBD-2, right? Code 90 is a leak in the EVAP system. OBD-1 doesn't even have the sensors to look for a leak.
