i know code 20 is "Electrical Load Detector defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor" but my question is i have a chipped p28 that disables ELD and im still throwning this code? any input will help


btw: i converted obd2 to obd1 (might this affect anything?)

A chipped P28 will only remove the ELD if the programme you have on the chip tells it to do so. Check your chip coding and make sure the ELD option has been turned off.

I have heard of this issue on pgmfi.org a lot. Something about it just staying on. I dunno, check pgmfi.org forums.
