Default Code 9 after obd1 conversion...

Ok, I am converting to obd1 from obd0 in a 90 Civic with a b16a. I've gotten an ECU from Katman, the conversion harness from Jason (Blown90Hatch) and an OBD1 distributor from Brian (b18c1_powered_si).

I all the wiring done, including re-pinning the distributor to obd0 plugs, then went to fire it up. No dice. The car turns over, but doesn't catch. Jumper the codes, I get a 22 and a 9. So I check the wiring on the harness & dizzy. I wasn't sure about wires 9 & 6 on Jason's conversion harness (6 is vtec oil pressure, 9 is secondary butterfly for a gsr intake/ecu), so I switched them. Code 22 gone. I also wasn't sure about the wiring on the dizzy. Most of the wires are easy enough, but as some of you certainly know, obd0 dizzy's have two white wires. In any case, I tried a number of different changes in the pinning of the dizzy, but all I ended up with is a code 78, which I can't find.

In any case, if anyone who's done an obd0-obd1 conversion can post a definite wiring layout for the dizzy, that'd be great. If anyone else has any ideas on why it won't fire up & where the code 9 is coming from - any help would be appreciated.

One final, stupid question....

Is the distributor firing order the same on an obd1 dizzy as an obd0 dizzy? (I'm assuming it is, but....)

Thanks,
Eric
