Default code 7 TPS wont go away!

i got a TPS from a different TB (I was told as long as the plug fits it will work)
when you calibrate it it wont go above 3.6V even after making the holes longer
i was told it needed to be 4.5-5v at full throttle
the car runs better (not as rich) but seems, ummmm lean?? dry?? harsh??
i have a b16a
the TB I got the sensor off is MUCH smaller
i also have a field vtc. any history of those making the comp throw codes
go away check engine light, go away

Try adjustin it at closed throttle with .5 volts instead. Then check to see what you get at WOT.Maybe your throttle is not opening up all the way.......And make sure the leg on the tps sensor is in that little space where its supposed to be.
