I think that code is for the vtec oil pressure switch.

I have the same problem too.. I changed all the vtec stuff. both the switch, and the soleniod.. i even changed the housing with the plunger.. none of that stuff worked.. . im gonna open up my head tomorrow, and also check the oil pump. hopefully that fixes the prob..

damn, i ordered the gaskets this week. I was gonna try replacing them adn cleaning the solenoid first. You said that didnt fix your problem? My car also has bad hesistation under 5k rpm? Do you guys have anything like this? I am curious if its related or not. I am tired of reseting my ecu every 2 hrs, only to get an hour of driving out of it. Weird thing is.... i ordered the gaskets to fix a leak, then missed a gear racing a corvette, then got code 22, in that order. I really hope i didnt **** something up.

Why does it seem like there is **** for help on here anymore?? I have been having the same problems with my car for over a month now, and cant get one bit of feasible advice since its not about GF problems or what rims to get.

Well as for your code, its not VTEC related. You are losing oil pressure somehow, try stopping the leak you described first, this could be the source. If your ECU throws a code, it automatically crosses over into limp-home mode, disabling your VTEC and severely limiting your power output. Plain and simple, your VTEC isn't working becuase of an oil pressure problem, your ecu is trying to save your engine. So do some homework, check for leaks, and be sure and check the oil pump. Also, are you running an aftermarket air intake?
