Default throwing code 22 (vtec pressure switch) every now and then....need some help

1st off, I've searched and couldn't really find exactly what Im looking for. Here's the situation: I have a boosted z6. Two times in the past week when I was on the interstate ******* it hard at about 6500 RPM (give or take a little) a CEL has thrown. The 1st time I never got to see what it was because after I turned the car off, it cleared...didn't see it again until I was on the interstate again last night ******* it again. This time I didn't turn the car off. I just jumped it and I got code 22. I can't figure out why it's only doing it every now and then. And I dog it all the time and it doesn't do it. Just these 2 times so far. I have a bad oil leak but I check it daily and add some when it's needed so Im pretty sure oil level is not the problem. Im going to take the solenoid off in a minute and clean it but I don't see how that would be the problem either since it's only coming on every now and then. Anyone have any idea's what could be causing it to throw the code every now and then...? Oh and I doesn't feel like VTEC is engaging anymore either. Hasn't felt like it has in a coupe of days.

check your wireing, more than likely you have a bad solenoid though....

It may sound rediculous but change your oil... The VTEC solenoid doesn't like to engage when you have dirty or old oil... What happens is the oil gets thin and the computer doesn't "understand" so it throws a code.

Code 22 point to the vtec switch/circuit. Not the solenoid.

The most common things I see: low oil level, bad switch, clogged screen.
