code 10 help please...

Default code 10 help please...

i replaced the sensor and the code is still there...wtf...any ideas? refer to my first thread to get the details

son of a....i have really learned during this 'project' how IMPORTANT wiring can be. so i fixed up some of the loose wires i had and walla...f'ing car runs like a dream. damn... for me. owned by a wire...definitely something i will never forget.

So, through this 'learning' experience of yours, would you suggest to the newb's that a multimeter and a Helms would have saved a lot of time, effort and swearing?

hate to say it...but my Haynes (cringe) got me though just fine. now a multimeter would have been really nice...too bad there was one in the tool box the whole time i was working on it. hind sight is always 20/20

IAT is located on the intake manifold. Not the ECT nor on the intake.

What sensor did you replace?

Funny I have the same code right now...what were the symptons of when you had the code? My car seems to sputter a bit after 5k...its odd I cant explain it.

Btw what wires did u fix?

i was actually trying to install my secondary o2....so i just pulled those wires then the problem went away. i had surging at low rpms(like right before i would depress the clutch when coming to a stop), very high idle(just about 1100), and the constant smell of fuel...which i still have right after starting it. i'm not sure what running that rich can do but i am assuming i have to change my plugs and maybe even my fuel filter.
