I have been experienceing some problems with my clutch lately but only after it rains. It is a extremly loud squeeking noise when i push the clutch pedal. This goes on for about 25 min what im guessing is the time it takes for it to dry out. after that its normal. It engages just fine and everything elese just noisy as hell. Anyone have any suggestions? It sounds to be comming from behind the rubber boot or possibly the slave cyl. itself?

 

Check the inside of the car where the clutch goes through the firewall. If you see brake fluid leakage, you need to replace your clutch master cylinder.

 

Ive already checked that. Any other ideas?

 

ya if it is a hydro tranny then it is were the slave cylinder hits the little lever that engages the throw out bearing. the exact place of the squeak id the little ball-peen and the little bowl that it sets in. just pull back that rubber boot and put some high temp grease in there that should do the trick..hope that this helped mang

 

Bleed your clutch system before you replace anything.

Might just need a good flush...
