Default Clutch question

My cousin asked me to post this up for him. He is swapping his ITR motor from his CRX into an EG hatch. Since the motor was in the CRX he was using a cable B16 trans but is unable to use this in the hatch without the conversion kit. We have a trade in progress but my cousin wants to keep the clutch that is attached to the motor. Question is will it fit when swapping the trans to a hydro B16.

if he had a ys1 cable tranny, then he can use it in the new hydro setup. If he had any single letter cable tranny (s1, j1, y1, etc) then he wont be able to use it with the hydro setup.

The splines are different on the input shafts on the 90-91 cable trannies. but the ys1s share the same internals as hydro so he should be good to go if he has a ys1.
