Default Clutch Master Cylinder?

I have a problem with my clutch and i think it's my clutch master cylinder. When i push in my clutch it doesn't go in smooth. There is a bunch of clicks and it feels like a dirty mouse ball. The clicks prevented the clutch from coming back up again. I've bleed the system and that hasn't worked. If anyone know what this is please help me.

Thanks,
Jason

ive seen this problem before

check to see if your master or slave cylinder is leaking or any of the clutch lines
my guess is that if you replace the master and slave cylinder youll be good to go

How many miles on the clutch? Sounds like a bad pressure plate..?

If it's a bad pressure plate you'll have to pull the tranny out.

Before doing that, check under the dash to rule out bad pivot bushings on the pedal itself.

I say either the pressure plate or the release fork/bearing are binding or damaged. Regardless, check the easy things first, because anything I've listed requires you to pull the tranny. fun...
