clutch install problem on evo 9
I have installed an exedy twin disk, and somehow durring the tranny re-install the spring thing that is attatched to the pressure plate to hold the through out bearing got hit with the input shaft and cam loose everything is back on but the axles , so I looked thru the hole on the bottom and its attached to the through out bearing but not the pressure plate.
my question is does it need to be on the pressure plate for the clutch to work???
and how does the fork work on an evo? when I press the part that the slave cylinder pushes against it moves the through out bearing away from the pressure plate. How does that disengage the clucth?
on my honda the fork pushes the bearing to the pressure plate dissengaging the clutch
