Default Cluster doesnt light on after installing a headunit

I have a 97 itr and i recently had a new head unit put in and evey since the the gauge cluster's back light wont come on .. i kno the light isnt messed up because when i turn the alarm on and off it still blinks... i've checked the fuses seeem like nuttin is blown..
can someone help me out thanks.. i cant drive at night!!

did you install it yourself? Is there a wire for illumination? If so make sure its not grounding out.

yeah i installed it myself i think some wire was touching and made the cluster shut off...

which wire is the illumination?

should be orange or yellow. Im pretty sure its orange. Check the fuses and make sure its not blown because if it grounds out it will blow a fuse.

i think thats what caused it... now my lights arent working anymore..
i dont think any fuses were blown cus i checked it any help on that?

checked the backup and interior lights fuse? i did that one time too, i grounded something for the radio out, and i had no instrument cluster lights or tailights

its a fuse under the dash driver's side...it happened 2 me..jsut find the blown one
