Default clicking clutch

Whats up everyone,
I just replaced my oem clutch w/ a stage 3 exeddy clutch and an 8.6 lb flywheel.
the car has been running awsome for about two weeks now

Anyways, tonight while i was driving i noticed a FAINT CLICKING NOISE when i pushed the clutch pedal down to the floor

is this normal and i have just never noticed it before, or should i do something about this immediately?

I think it is my throw out bearing rubbing against my pressure plate, but im not sure. i lubed up the bearing very well before i installed it.

thanx for any help

I'm having a similar issue:

But mine is clicking when the clutch pedal is about 3/4's the way to the floor. Have not found a solution yet.

Yeah, I am having the same problem. I have beat the ever-loving **** out of my stage 1 Exedy for nearly 100k miles now, and have not had the first mishap, or sign of slippage. But now I get to a streetlight, and sit in first with the clutch in, it clicks once every 5 seconds or so, and it shakes the car. If you put the car in nuetral, and take your foot off the clutch, it doesn't do it anymore. I'm pulling my car apart soon, and I'm switching to a built tranny (Gear-speed). If you haven't figured it out by then, I'll let you know what my problem was.

if that was the problem i would not have to take off the tranny, right?? I would just take of the shift fork boot and grease up the connection point? Is that what u are talking about?

thanks

yes the last time I installed my clutch I forgot to l00b the shift fork/slave connection point (under the rubber boot) and I was getting a clicking feel and sound when pushing in the clutch. that results in metal on metal contact at the pivot/ball point of contact on the fork. l00bed it up and it was fine.
