Default ATS Carbon Clutch "clicking" when pedel is pushed in

When the clutch pedal is first engaged on a "cold" clutch, everything seems to be fine. But if I sit there and pump the clutch 5 or 6 times, there is a mechanical "clicking" feel when the pedal is halfway engaged. The clutch still engages properly.
Took the clutch off and there is no visual damage. Has anyone encountered as problem similar to this?

It's a single.
Pricey, but by far the best clutch I've ever had. No problems....until now....
