cleaning all the sludge inside the valve cover?
I just recently bought a new car, and just popped the valve cover and noticed a lot of build up of stuff.. what would you guys recommend to clean it? some people are saying to use some mystery oil or something, but others say it doesn't work at all. I already did an oil change, and the problem is still there
any ideas?
thanks

You have to take off the vavle cover and clean it out with some varsol or other parts cleaner. Then keep changing the oil every 5k km's. It will eventually clean out the rest of the motor. The damage from lack of proper oil changes is already done.

It is just regular oil change intervals....3k miles.
