Default Civic wiring harness differences????

I called up a local shop and asked if they had an si engine wirng harness and they needed to know if it was for a civic or CRX. They said they are different. WTF? Is this true? Are they really different? Can some one explain or better yet post some pics of the differences. Thanks................

Did you tell them what car it is for? There are several different Si harnesses if that's all you asked for. The first being out of the CRX Si which is plugs together to the interior wiring harness and is non OBD. The second being from the Civic hatchback Si with the SOHC VTEC motor, plugs together just as the CRX Si does in the engine bay but is set up for OBD1. And the last from the 99-2000 Civic Si for the B16 motor, this harness is all one piece from the motor loom to the ECU and has OBD2 plugs on it. Those are the one's I can think of right now, if they're are anymore that i missed please post. Latez
