1990 civic SI/CRX harness???
Alright guys, searched, read, confused. I have 1990 civic SI that is completely missing the engine harness (unplugged not cut). I know the Si had a MPFI engine in it. My question is what replacement harnesses can I use that would be a plug and play to the existing wiring? I have heard everything from Integra harnesses to CRX HF harnesses will work as long as they are MPFI. I just want to make sure before I drop some money on a harness that may be worthless. Also the motor I am going to be swapping in is my old B18C1 out of my wrecked EG, so it's obd 1. Assuming I get the Si engine MPFI harness replaced, could I just get a Boomslang OBD0-OBD1 conversion harness and then just wire in VTEC? Would I have to change some of the plugs on the engine harness to that ones on the OBD 1 EG harness so it will plug in correctly to the motor? I appreciate all of your guys help. This is my first obd 0 car so it is kind of new to me. All I have had before were EG hatches and the wiring on those is so much easier. Thanks!

Re: 1990 civic SI/CRX harness??? (mugenhatchie)
well it is always suggest to get the stock harness where ever possible so I would look for a 90 Si harness, I'm pretty sure the HF will not work properly and not sure on the teg but save some hassel and just get a harness from a 90 Si, as for the OBD0-OBD1 use the OBD0 harness for the car (90 Si) everything except the vtec stuff will plug right in they use the same connectors/plugs other than the fan switch OBD0 has it on the back fo the block OBD1 has it on the thermo housing...you could just run the motor with a chipped pm6 on turbo edit but if you want to go OBD1 just use the conversion harness
