Hi folks

Need some technical help. Am putting an 89 SI engine into an 89 DX. Did the wiring mods as listed in Kenji's article. But, when turning the key the main relay chatters. This is the relay that powers the fuel pump.

Any ideas?

Check to make sure the PGM-FI ground on the engine harness is tightened down on the thermostat housing.

Also, check all of the other engine grounds. That should solve your problem.

yes and check the ground from transmission to framerail/battery. I have forgotten to hook this up on two different swaps and caused problems.
