HELP! Non-Honda Question: Clutch Problem
I just swapped the B6T engine into my festiva. I had to use a specially machined festiva flywheel, with a ACT Heavy Duty pressure plate intended for a Suzuki Swift, along with a stock swift disk that I picked up from Napa/Uap. This is a proven setup, and has been used by the few other people who have done this swap.
My problem is this: With the clutch pedal depressed to the floor, and the tranny in 1st, I cannot move the car without pushing very hard, its almost like a automatic car in park. When I do get the car moving I can hear a sound coming from the clutch, it sounds like your hand rubbing a cement wall (?couldn't think of any other example!) The freeplay is adjusted to the proper spec, so it won't be that.
Do you have any clue as to why it would be doing this?
Heres some pics of the engine in the car:
Thanks for the help!

Its a cable actuated mechanical clutch. If you look close enough in the 2nd picture I posted, you can see the clutch arm beside the turbo bypass valve, the cable isn't attached in that pic though...
I still have no idea what the problem is... adjusting it does nothing
