Chipped pr3 gone horribly wrong.
Not sure if this is the right forum but here it goes.
Took my pr3 to work with a skunk2 chip and socket (no resistors).
His desoldering station was broken so I had to used a SEPERATE pump and a SEPERATE iron. The heat + pump thing dosent work to well unless they're attached (which they weren't) so the board dosent look to well. I fire it up and the engine idles variously among 1800-2200 for a couple seconds then warms up. The check engine line is on and it sputters and dosent want to rev past 3 Grand. My socket is missing a pin on the top right. Is this normal? Did I screw up the ecu or is my chip bad?
