Adjusting Valves
Ok so i just read a post that says when adjusting valves you can do a trick and do the following.
With #1 at TDC, adjust both intake and exhaust on 1, intake on 2, exhaust on 3.
Adjust to #4 at TDC, adjust both intake and exhaust on 4, intake on 3, exhaust on 2.
Will this work? I always thought you had to do 1# cylinder, rotate 90 degrees and #2 and so on??

That trick (or something like it, I don't remember the order) is right, but I never used it. It takes a whopping 20 minutes to adjust valves the normal way, and the chance of forgetting which ones you've adjusted and which ones you haven't is greater.

That trick would probably only save me about 60 seconds on a valve adjustment job.
