Chip installation
Does anybody have any pictures or instructions on how to install a performance chip? I know it’s a very simple task to do, but I want to make sure I’m doing it properly and don’t connect the wrong wires.
The chip I have I bought off of e-bay, and it looks really simple. It’s only a set of wires going into a plastic block, and then the same wires coming out. Is it really that simple, and how can they be that simple? Is it just a minor currency that the block sends out through the wires that alters the function?
Noob question I know, but I know nothing about the chip technology.
If anyone has “how to’s” for the installation, thanks a lot. Messing with wires I don’t know is something I’d rather not do.
Ps. it's for a 93 Del Sol if that makes any difference

I think most people on here will tell you to stay away from those cheap tricks. Search a little around here and see what people say about them first. Their not worth the trouble and can possible mess things up especially if your not familiar with working on ECU's.
step1. pick up black box, drop in trash
step2. dream of the money you just spent on it floating back to your wallet.
step3. wake up and realize you just wasted money one a worthless product.
Step4. try to get your money back ASAP.
sorry to tell you but anything like this is simply a waste of money.
Chipping your ECU and having it tuned would be the only thing even remotely close to this that would be worth any sort of money.
