Just purchased and swapped a b16b into an eg9. Pulled out of the garage fine in reverse and went into first gear fine. When I shifted into 2nd gear nothing. Motor just free revved. You can take your foot completely off the clutch pedal while in gear and step out of the car and no movement. Is there a way to tell if the lsd is the problem or the clutch without pulling the tranny. By the way clutch engaged revving the motor the speedo rises with rpms as if the car is moving. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

it sounds like a clutch issue

 

check your axles. Sounds like your axle may have popped out

either ur second gear is gone, it might be the tranny you should get it check it out by a transmission tech. before you should worry bout clutch.
