Check engine light when going into VTEC
(D16Z6 SOHC VTEC)
I recently removed the head off my engine for a mild rebuild, porting and head milling of 0.030". Now when I redline the car I get a check engine light. Otherwise everything seems fine, runs smooth and I checked all connections I had to unplug/replug numerous times. Also, VTEC seems to engage as the engine pulls strong to redline.
I'm just at a lost for what could be causing this. Could the higher compression ratio be messing with the air/fuel ratio? Anyone ever experience something like this?

If I knew I probably wouldn't be asking for help
I don't have the equipement to check the codes, I'm hoping someone who experienced the same thing or heard of it happening could help me out before I bring the car into the shop at school.
