Icon3 Check Engine Light One

The cars never given me any problems till yesterday when I came home from work I pressure washed the engine bay like usual and when I started it about an hour later the engine was idling really rough after a minute of running and then the engine light started to blink What are your thoughts???

Pull spark plug leads and use compressed air to blow out any moisture that may have got down into plug "tubes".
Make sure spark plug leads are dry.

Pull distributor cap and check for moisture in cap and/or distributor. 94

im having a problem wit my car just losing power and my check engine light comes on sometimes in the middle of a drive mostly on the highway and when i hit a incline on the road my car starts to die down i down shift but nothing it still keeps dieing down like not enough fuel is gettin to it a friend of mine says its my MAP sensor causing this so just looking for a second opinion... any thought?

I would say Maybe the O2 sensors..
But at any rate , you can run to the auto parts store and use there computer analyzer for free. Should take a couple of minutes to figure out.

yeah, quit thread jacking, go start your own

-op- how often do you pressure wash the engine bay? You said "like usual" is why I ask. I typically try to stay away from any high pressure water around electrical components, it can push the water into some unusual spots especially if you dont take any precautions. The CEL is probably flashing because of the bad misfire (that can damage your cat.conv. ). do what fcm said and report back

fuses cost next to nothing, whats the point in getto rigging your eletrical system with tin foil when the fuse costs like ten cents?

I think hes referring to my sig,lawlz....The kid put tin foil in because it kept blowing fuses...I told him repeatedily to take the tin foil out...he didnt listen
