Default CEL Misfire

00+ GSR for mods click on link found in sig

I tried search didnt find any real answers your theories are very welcomed

Symptoms:
no power loss CEL is on i forgot the number of the code but it is the one for misfire.
I was running rich because one of my Injectors was stuck open. Also my mechanic accidentally put in LS plugs and i didnt find out till now. Now im running on stock NGK plugs for the GSR. Some people think my o2 sensor could be toasted since of running rich for so long. Thanks for the help.

it sounds like that injector is fouling your plug on tha one cylinder. While you know that you have to replace that one injector, so go from there and i would change the spark for that cylinder with the bad injector.

Hope that helps!

What code? Did you check the plug wires, cap, and rotor? Did you do a compression test? Are the valves adjusted to tight?

I already changed the plugs and wires...as for the cap and rotor I only did a visual inspection I didnt find anything wrong with them. Compression test came back good will check on the valves. I will also check which code it is but im pretty sure it was the misfire code. brb

disconnected AFC and reset ECU CEL still came back...next step either swap ignitor/coils or ECU.
