Default CEL light again... code 45 (rich/lean)

Okay so here's the whole story. abou 2 1/2 months ago I installed a BBK 70MM throttle body into my '99 GSR. i didn't reset the ECU (forgot) but for about a month it ran fine. then the CEL came on and gave me a code 45, running too rich/lean, and i reset the ECU from the advice of someone else. the CEL went off and all was fine, until last night. i was driving to my friend's house at night and it clicked on. it's hard not to notice so i pulled into a parking lot, jumped the service pin and got code 45 again. i didn't know why it showed up so i just reset the ECU to see what would happen. light turned off until i was driving home tonight, and it clicked on again. stopped, checked, code 45 again. so i'm going to take a wild stab and say it's the throttle body.

but why would it be fine until 2,000 miles later? i don't drive my car hard, in fact i hit VTEC a max of like 0-1 times per day. other than the TB the only other engine mod i have is a GReddy SP (spare me the lectures on why i got the TB). yeah, stock airbox, stock ex. manifold. so why now? why is it all of a sudden showing up? could it be gas? i mean something had to be going fine for 2000 miles until now. any help? thanks.

check your o2 sensor, that might have fallen off and disconnected.

thanks i'll check it. also, the throttle feels a little sticky sometimes- i press and it doesn't accelerate until a split second later (with a little jolt), but only sometimes. what could be causing this? it's onyl happened since the CEL came on.

i can't jack my car up right now (garage is full)... could it possibly be anything else or should i just rely on the O2 sensor?

i just reset the ECU again, light is off and i idled the car for 15 minutes (last time i had no time to idle it). i'll see what happens. however i did smell fuel- bad sign?

also is it safe for me to drive to and from school (2 miles) like this?
