Code 0
My cel light came on tonight on the way home. When checking cels the light just stays on. Assuming this is code 0 for ECU. I should also have a 43 which I never cleared but it is not showing it . Getting an abs code so I am pretty sure I am doing it correctly. The car is running. No sputtering or misfiring. However this past Saturday it died and would turn over but not start. Cel light did not come on. Checked it anyway but It just showed the old code 43. Found out I was not getting any fire to the plugs from the distributor. Changed the cap and rotor and she fired up and here am today. I am assuming their is some correlation . Gonna look,up on how to check the ECU but any advice would be appreciated. Is it ok to continue to drive the car? Thanks!
Had a episode of less than 5 seconds where the car bogged/stuttered On the way home from work. CEL did not come on. No problems this morning . My question is what signifies a code 0? I know it means Ecu but what would it look like on the cel display?
