ok, So yesterday I got a code 21 and code 22 which have to do with the vtec solenoid and oil pressure. someone suggested I reset my ECU and see if the codes go away. well, I reset the ECU by pulling out the 15amp and 7.5 amp in the fuse box for the ECU and backup. I waited about 2 minutes and put the fuses back in. I start up the car and let it idle at normal temp for around 10 min. Now when I jump the two wires to check my codes, its just a constand CEL light. No blinking or nothing just constanly on. how ever, if i dont jump the two wires there is no CEL. Is this normal? does the constant CEL mean normal? I never jumped the 2 wires together when the car was running fine. does it mean that there are no codes to throw so its just on constantly only when the two wires are jumped? should the CEL be off even when the two wires are jumped and nothing is wrong? please help... i'm getting frustrated.
