what is the humming noise that you hear when you turn the key to power the ignition before cranking the engine?

thats what i figured.

it sounds somewhat clogged and it doesnt humm smoothly as it used to. could it be a clogged fuel filter? my car runs cool when i step on the gas... and it doesnt stutter. but i dont know why is sounds clogged for a quick second when i turn the ignition on.

 

what kind of fuel pump?

 

im using the stock intank fuel pump and an airtex inline with the DRAG3 kit. i noticed the inline hasnt been as loud as it was... and i also noticed that the usual consistent humming noise sounded clogged since then. i wonder what the problem is.

my inline makes a noise like you would if you were crapping a bowling ball
